My husband lived 8 years in Germany and when he came back to Japan, he had difficulties to write Kanji. He had to practise again. I'm always amazed how quickly my daughters can learn them. I wish I had more time to study them, too. I really would love to speak fluently Japanese someday, because I really love Japan ^^
Thank you so much for your comment and once again congratulations for your award !!! This must really be a big boost of motivation for you. Hope to see more of your works soon !!!
My name is Julia Takagi (高木ユリア) I'm actually from Germany, my husband is Japanese and we live in Japan since 2005. One of my greatest passions is painting. I had several exhibitions (solo- and groupshows) in Germany (Wiesbaden, Hofheim), Japan (Hakodate, Fukuoka, Tokyo, Nagoya, Makurazaki), Korea (Seoul and Cheong Ju at the ICA 2010) and two in the USA (LaGrange, Georgia). The beautiful nature of Japan inspires me and I paint almost every day.

“Toriboshidake” = “Eboshidake”
Present for you, because you teached us so much about plants

ReplyDeleteYes, Kanjis are difficult...
